Dexter Aoki, Chief Investment Officer
INTRODUCING DEXTER S. AOKI
It is our pleasure to announce the addition of Dexter S. Aoki to
Sterling & Tucker Financial Services, LLC.
Dexter joins us after assisting investors for 25 years at Paine
Webber, Wedbush Morgan and Wachovia Securities. After joining
Wachovia in 1988, Dexter specialized in retirement plans, particularly
401k and profit sharing plans. He handled institutional accounts such as
Taft Hartley plans and foundations. His duties included crafting
investment policies, screening and evaluating money managers and
monitoring the performance of managed accounts.
After graduating from the University of Hawaii in 1971 with a
BBA in Economics, Dexter was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the
U.S. Army Signal Corps and served in the Army Reserve and Hawaii
National Guard until 1976.
He currently spends much of his free time doing community service projects with the Pearl City Lions Club
where he has been a member since 1987. Currently a director in the club, he has also served as treasurer, program
chairman, and vice president.
Dexter enjoys many hobbies such as fishing, golf, karaoke, gardening, and collecting Scrooge McDuck
memorabilia but is truly a history fanatic. He says it’s useful when speaking publicly about investing, intertwining
geopolitics and historical anecdotes with current information on the financial markets. His library of history and
investment books is so large that he jokingly says it takes a house, two apartments and his office to store them all.

Jennifer Y. I. Chun, Chief Operating Officer
AND JENNIFER Y. I. CHUN
It is also our pleasure to announce the addition of Jennifer Y. I. Chun
to the Financial Services team.
Jennifer Chun was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and is the fourth of five
children. She attended Moanalua High School and attained her Bachelor of Arts
in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of
Washington in Seattle where she enjoyed the rain and the winning football team.
Jennifer joined Bateman, Eichler, Hill, Richards in 1988 as a Portfolio
Analyst. As the company expanded from a regional brokerage to nationally identified
Kemper Securities and ultimately to Wachovia Securities, Jennifer developed her
skills to become a Senior Performance Monitor Analyst and finally a Research
